The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) is planning an 18.9-kilometer road network to improve traffic flow around the new Raila Odinga Talanta International Stadium and the Bomas International Convention Centre (BICC) in Nairobi.

• The project aims to enhance traffic circulation and road capacity for both facilities.
• Key organizations involved are KURA, submitting an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report to the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
• The road network will traverse Dagoretti South, Kibra, and Lang’ata constituencies, and comes as Kenya prepares to host the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in June 2027.
