A wanted woman, Jane Waithera Wateri, was apprehended at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) while attempting to travel to Bangladesh with a significant quantity of cocaine.

• Seized drugs valued at approximately Ksh13.53 million (3383 grams).
• The suspect was identified and arrested by detectives from Kenya Airports Criminal Investigations (KACI) and the National Anti-Narcotics Investigations Bureau (NANIB).
• Wateri had been on the law enforcement watch list since last year, highlighting a sustained effort to combat narcotics trafficking through Kenyan airports.
