IEBC launches voter registration exercise for nationwide rollout - March 2026

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has officially launched the voter registration exercise, a nationwide exercise set to commence on Monday. Embu youth rallied Church support for a mass voter registration drive. The Embu High Court has ordered a limited scrutiny and recount of ballots and election materials from the Mbeere North Constituency by-election held in November 2025, following a petition challenging the victory of Leonard Wamuthende Njeru.
