ODM Removes Edwin Sifuna as Secretary General - June 2026

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has, for the second time, removed Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna from his position as Secretary-General, following a report from an internal dispute committee. The ODM National Executive Committee has officially confirmed the removal after internal conflict. Sifuna has announced his intention to challenge his removal from office by the ODM NEC in court, stating he will be returning to court to fight the ouster bid.
