Kenya launches 'MICE' tourism drive to attract 5 million visitors by 2028 - July 2026

Kenya has launched a new initiative aimed at boosting its tourism sector by targeting the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) market. A luxurious cruise ship from China has made its inaugural stop in Mombasa, Kenya, bringing 717 international visitors in its first voyage. Separately, Kenya is strategically leveraging its packaging, printing, and graphics industry to achieve continental export dominance.
