University Lecturers' Strike Enters Third Week, Drawing Criticism - September 2025
The ongoing university lecturers' strike has entered its third week, causing significant disruption to students' studies. Due to the unresolved situation, Kenyan university students are now threatening to hold protests if the government does not find a quick solution to the impasse. Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has criticized the Kenya Kwanza government for its failure to resolve the strike. He accused the government of showing a perceived lack of concern for the industrial action. Musyoka has also urged the youth to back the opposition in 2027 over the government's handling of the matter.
