Eight students have been detained as investigations continue into a fire that killed 16 students at the Utumishi Girls Secondary School in Gilgil. The bravery of Cecilia Wanjiku is being remembered following the tragic fire incident. Families have begun identifying some of the student bodies, with DNA testing ongoing to identify those who were severely burned. Naivasha morgue was filled with grief and sorrow as parents identified the bodies of 16 students who tragically died in the fire.
