A new Interpol report has identified Kenya as Africa's second-most vulnerable country to cyberattacks, with a significant percentage of exploitable digital vulnerabilities detected in 2025. Separately, Smart Applications International has launched Smart PharmaLink, a new pharmacy management platform designed to digitize operations for pharmacies across Kenya. At the same time, oil prices dropped to a three-week low as senior US officials indicated progress in talks with Iran aimed at reopening the crucial Strait of Hormuz.
