Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale announced significant changes to the Linda Jamii maternal care package, which aims to enhance healthcare accessibility for mothers and families in Kenya.

• The new reimbursement fees are now Ksh10,000 for normal delivery and Ksh30,000 for Caesarean sections, up from Ksh2,500 and Ksh5,000, respectively.
• The Linda Jamii package now includes comprehensive maternal care and allows registration for spouses and children, replacing the limited NHIF-based Linda Mama scheme.
• Notably, it introduces Anti-D serum treatment for Rhesus-negative mothers, a crucial addition previously absent from the prior model.
