The United Kingdom is implementing changes to its visa process for Kenyans applying to study or work beginning on July 15, 2025. The new system will replace traditional visa stickers with a digital visa.

• New digital visas will allow applicants to keep their passports and receive visa details electronically.
• The announcement was made by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
• The UK will not refund rejected visa applications from Kenya, as stated by Dr. Ed Barnett, Deputy High Commissioner to Kenya.
