Safaricom shareholders have approved a final dividend of Sh0.65 per share, totaling Sh48.08 billion in dividend payments for the 2025 financial year.

• The total dividend for the year is Sh1.20 per share, including an earlier interim dividend of Sh0.55.
• Peter Ndegwa, Group chief executive of Safaricom, highlighted a strong financial year with revenue exceeding $3 billion and market capitalization crossing Sh1 trillion.
• This marks three consecutive years of maintaining the same dividend payout despite operational challenges in Ethiopia.
