Residents of Basuba village in Lamu County endured a night of terror on Friday as over 60 Al-Shabaab militants attacked the area, engaging General Service Unit (GSU) officers for over an hour.

• Over 60 Al-Shabaab militants stormed Basuba village and surrounded the GSU camp.
• Attackers fired four Rocket-Propelled Grenade (RPG) rounds into the village and camp.
• No fatalities or injuries have been reported so far.
