Kenya's Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has appointed former Kibwezi MP Philip Kiloki as the new Chairperson of the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) Board, replacing Nelson Havi. Kiloki's appointment is effective July 30, 2025, for a period of three years.

• Prof. Philip Kaloki assumes the chairperson role, having previously served as CEO of the Global Centre for Business Development and Chairman of the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Board.
• Nelson Havi, former President of the Law Society of Kenya, was replaced prematurely, as his tenure was set to run until 2026.
• The RBA Board is the highest decision-making body, responsible for the overall policy direction and leadership of the Authority.
