Kenyan detectives have arrested three suspects believed to be part of a gang responsible for a series of violent robberies in Nyamira and Kisii Counties, including a shocking attack on a 96-year-old grandmother.

• The devout Catholic grandmother had offered a prayer for the armed gang before they ransacked her home, stole valuables, and consumed her medication milk.
• Detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB), alongside officers from Kenyanya and Nyamira, tracked the suspects for weeks.
• The arrests led to the recovery of stolen electronics and a motorcycle used by the gang, bringing relief to residents who faced fear of violent robberies, sexual assaults, and defilement.
