The UEFA Champions League draw for the upcoming season has set up compelling matchups, with Liverpool and Manchester City both facing Real Madrid, while title-holders Paris Saint-Germain received a challenging draw against teams like Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Liverpool will host Real Madrid at Anfield and also play Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven, and Qarabag at home, in addition to away fixtures against Inter Milan, Eintracht Frankfurt, Marseille, and Galatasaray.
Manchester City, Champions League winners in 2023, will welcome Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Napoli, and Galatasaray, while making away trips to Villarreal, Monaco, and Bodo/Glimt.
The new format features 36 clubs in one league, with each team playing eight games against eight different opponents. The top 8 teams advance to the last 16, and those finishing between 9th and 24th proceed to knockout round play-offs.
