OPPO has officially launched its new ultra-durable smartphones, the OPPO A6 and OPPO A6 Pro, in China. These successors to the rugged A5 series boast enhanced durability and impressive specifications, with a strong likelihood of arriving in Kenya by late 2025 or early 2026.

• The OPPO A6 Pro features triple waterproof certifications (IP66, IP68, and IP69), a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and military-grade drop resistance, with prices starting from 1,799 yuan (~KES 33,000).
• The smartphone is equipped with a 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip.
• The OPPO A6, also featuring IP69 protection and a "six-year longevity battery," is scheduled for release in China on September 30th.
