Prominent Makueni County tycoon, Dennis Kasyoki, died in a tragic road accident on Monday morning, September 22, along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway in the Athi River area, Machakos County.

• Kasyoki's double-cabin vehicle collided with a trailer heading from Mombasa to Congo after he attempted to overtake and return to his lane.
• The accident caused the trailer's container to overturn, crushing the driver's side of Kasyoki's vehicle, killing him instantly.
