African innovators are set to seek crucial partnership deals, funding, and collaborations at the upcoming Africa Climate Investment Summit (ACIS) in Nairobi from October 28 to 30, 2025. This summit aims to strengthen Africa’s role in the global climate economy and address the significant funding gap for climate solutions on the continent.

• The summit is expected to attract 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, corporates, and development partners.
• Less than 2% of global climate finance currently reaches African innovators, despite Africa contributing only 4% of global emissions but experiencing severe climate change impacts.
• The ACIS will launch the Africa Climate Investment Platform and Revolving Fund and consolidate Africa’s unified position on climate investment through the African Climate Investment Manifesto, to be presented at COP30 in Brazil.
• Joseph Marabula, CEO of KCIC, emphasized that the summit will connect entrepreneurs directly with investors, positioning Africa as a hub for climate-smart innovation.
