Former Tinderet parliamentary aspirant Shadrack Maritim has been missing for ten days since his disappearance on October 27. Troubling inconsistencies have emerged, including his active phone being used for financial transactions and the mysterious disappearance of crucial CCTV footage.

• Ksh.10,000, then Ksh.3,500, and later Ksh.15,000 were transferred from Maritim's phone to Felix Kimutai Magut after his disappearance.
• The chief investigator, Daniel Muleli of Uasin Gishu County, admitted no substantial leads have surfaced regarding Maritim’s location.
• In 2022, Shadrack Maritim was abducted and later found in Bungoma County.
