This decision followed a State House meeting with the President of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC). Separately, the National Land Commission (NLC) has announced adjustments for the construction of the Nyali Bridge-Mtwapa-Kwa Kadzengo-Kilifi Road, with 19 new land parcels to be acquired on behalf of the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). On another matter of land use, MPs will have the final say on a plan to convert 6,700 hectares of forest into human settlements due to encroachment.
