Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua has demanded the resignation of Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja following violent clashes in Narok on Monday.

• Gachagua accused police boss Kanja of failing to act on "coordinated violence against members of the opposition" during his Narok campaign.
• He specifically referenced Monday's events in Narok Town, alleging that police deployment was orchestrated by Murang'a Woman Representative Betty Maina.
• Gachagua also demanded the immediate transfer of two unnamed police officers from Narok, claiming they were under direct orders from Betty Maina.
