Following a raid on November 28, 2025, the EACC arrested two technical college instructors in connection with a Ksh40 million bribery scheme for test-drive exams. The instructors are accused of demanding "facilitation fees" for passing grades and running an illegal parallel fee collection system. Separately, on November 30, 2025, the EACC arrested three Ministry of Labour officials at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). They are accused of extorting recruitment agents facilitating the travel of Kenyan migrant workers to the Middle East.
