On December 12, 2025, President William Ruto awarded national honours to 881 Kenyans at State House, Nairobi, during Jamhuri Day celebrations, recognizing their distinguished service.
- Kristina Pratt Kenyatta (sister of former President Uhuru Kenyatta), Attorney General Dorcas Odour, and Kajiado Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu were awarded the Second Class of the Order of the Golden Heart (E.G.H.).
- Cabinet Secretaries William Kabogo, Debora Barasa, and Lee Kinyanjui also received the Second Class E.G.H.
- Musician Ian Oure, known as Iyanii, was conferred the Head of State Commendation (H.S.C.) Civilian Division Award for his contributions to music.
- A total of 189 military officers received the H.S.C. Military Division, and President Ruto posthumously honored three officers with Silver Star Medals for their service in Haiti.
