The Circular Economy Strategy and Implementation Plan (CESIP) aims to shift Kenya from a linear "take-make-dispose" model to one that maximizes resource efficiency.
Key players include the Ministry of Environment and the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).
The CESIP is scheduled for implementation between April and November 2026, with support from the Finnish Innovation Fund (Sitra).
