Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has ordered government agencies and Nairobi City County to expedite the delivery of key projects under the Nairobi Rising Programme, a Sh80 billion initiative aimed at urban transformation.

• The programme aims to achieve tangible results within 13 months.
• Key projects include Nairobi River regeneration (77% complete), road upgrades, street lighting, market construction (over 60% complete), and water/sanitation improvements.
• Implementing agencies were urged to ensure prudent use of public funds and transparency in reporting progress to residents.
