Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has directed KUCCPS to reopen placement applications for students who missed the 2026/2027 cycle, ensuring no eligible candidate is left behind.

• 293,869 students secured slots in universities and colleges, but an estimated 57,681 degree-qualified candidates did not apply.
• The directive was issued by Education CS Julius Ogamba.
• Eligible candidates who missed the initial window will have an opportunity to apply late, and the inter-university transfer window has been extended to one month.
