President William Ruto has announced a series of appointments and redeployments within the Executive and statutory bodies. The most significant change sees Charles Owino appointed as the new Government Spokesperson.

• Charles Owino, previously the Acting Head of Government Communications and former Police Spokesperson, takes on the key role of Government Spokesperson.
• Other notable appointments include Hon. Isaac Mwaura redesignated as the Head of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Disability Rights.
• Nominations for constitutional commissions and statutory bodies include Dr. Duncan Ojwang Oburu for Chairperson of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), and new members for the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Public Service Commission (PSC), and the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC).
