Malpractice, Violence, and Bribery Allegations Reported During Recent By-Elections - November 2025
Opposition leaders have criticized the alleged misuse of state resources and public funds during the recently concluded by-elections. In Narok, chaos erupted when election officials were reportedly attacked by masked individuals after polling stations closed. The Elections Observation Group reported instances of clashes, intimidation, and unauthorized access at polling stations. Similarly, the Pentecostal Voices of Kenya raised concerns over electoral malpractice observed during the November 27th by-elections, such as voter bribery. Political analysts are also highlighting concerns over low voter turnout, violence, and widespread bribery claims.
