Police Investigate Fatal Drive-By Shooting of Lawyer Kyalo Mbobu in Karen - September 2025

Prominent lawyer Mathew Kyalo Mbobu was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Karen, Nairobi. Police report he was ambushed by assailants on a motorbike or boda boda along the Langata-Magadi Road on Tuesday. Police detectives are intensifying their manhunt for the killers by meticulously reconstructing his final hours and tracing his movements. Investigators are also using CCTV footage to aid their investigation. Following the fatal shooting, Mr. Mbobu's family is demanding a swift investigation and justice for his killing.
