High Court Halts Police Recruitment Following Court Order - October 2025
The High Court has temporarily halted the recruitment of new police officers in Kenya, which was scheduled to take place this Friday across the country. Following the court order, the National Police Service has halted the recruitment of police cadets. The decision to suspend the registration was announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Professor Kithure Kindiki. The case leading to this suspension was filed by Harun Mwau. This decision impacts the ongoing process for new recruits into the police force.
