The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has released its official August 2025 list of approved motor vehicle body builders, conformity assessors, and licensed speed limiter suppliers, advising motorists on where to purchase accessories. This move aligns with the NTSA Act No. 33 of 2012 and the Traffic Act (CAP 403), aiming to enhance road safety in Kenya.

• NTSA approved 12 companies to supply speed limiters, enforcing KS 2295:2023 standards.
• 42 companies were approved as motor vehicle body builders, including A&G Automotive, Associated Vehicle Assemblers Limited, and Kenya Coach Industries.
• Only two conformity assessors, Al-Sahel Services Limited and Kenya Association of Bus Manufacturer Services Limited, received approval for August 2025 to ensure vehicles meet KS 372:2019 standards.
