Nairobi police have announced significant road closures and traffic diversions on Friday, August 22, ahead of the Kenya versus Madagascar African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) game at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

• Affected roads include Thika Road with diversions for traffic traveling from CBD to Thika, Mwiki, and for traffic from Thika to CBD.
• Nairobi Traffic Commandant Joseph Chirchir issued the notice, outlining traffic management measures.
• This is the first CHAN 2024 match in Nairobi to cause traffic disruptions outside of Nyayo Stadium, as Nyayo Stadium will not host further matches.
