This action follows mounting public anger and concerns over how SHA has been paying out claims to hospitals.

• SHA on Monday disabled its public portal for reviewing monthly payments to hospitals and the Kenya Master Health Facility Registry (KMHFR).
• CS Duale alleges "saboteurs" have recruited sections of the media to advance their agenda against SHA.
• Claims worth Ksh.3 billion are under re-evaluation due to missing documents, and an additional Ksh.2.1 billion is under surveillance, with Ksh.10.6 billion in claims already rejected due to fraudulent practices.
• Questions of transparency have been raised regarding Ladnan Hospital, co-founded by SHA Chairperson Abdi Mohamed, though both CS Duale and the hospital state Mohamed no longer has ties.
