The charges stem from allegations of altering a letter to attend a forum in Lagos, Nigeria, and forging a KCSE certificate.

Michael Abala Wanga is accused of fraudulently acquiring Ksh283,402 in excess facilitation payments from the Kisumu County Government.
He faces additional charges for allegedly acquiring public property worth Ksh8,701,091 from the Kisumu County Government.
The City Manager also failed to comply with a summons from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) regarding forged travel and employment documents.
