• The recall affects 2026 Ford Transit, Ford Transit Custom, and Ford Tourneo Custom models fitted with an 8F57 automatic transmission.
• Key organizations involved are the COMESA Competition and Consumer Commission (CCCC) and Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd.
• The affected vehicles were exported to countries including Eswatini between October 2025 and June 9, 2026. Owners are advised to seek free inspection and repairs at authorized dealerships.
