IEBC Says Voter Registration Concludes Tomorrow, No Extension - April 2026

Leaders of the UDA party have been urging the IEBC to extend the voter registration period, citing low registration rates among youth in Busia County. In Trans Nzoia, the IEBC official has strongly refuted allegations that non-residents are being registered as voters. Human rights activists in Mombasa are also urging the IEBC to intensify voter registration campaigns to increase the number of new voters.
