An autopsy has confirmed that former Cabinet Minister Cyrus Jirongo died from severe crush injuries to the chest, including a perforated heart, sustained in a road crash on December 13 in Naivasha.

• Jirongo suffered multiple fractures, including two on the right hand, fractures on both lower limbs, and extensive chest injuries leading to his death.
• The findings were disclosed by Government pathologist Johansen Oduor and family-appointed pathologists at Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.
• CCTV footage shows a PSV bus ramming into Jirongo’s vehicle at 2:19:25 am, pushing it approximately 25 metres from the impact point.
