DCI scales up search for Tuju after failing to trace him on Sunday - March 2026
Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju has been reported missing with his mobile phone switched off and his vehicle found abandoned in Nairobi's Karen suburb. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is intensifying efforts to locate him after he failed to be traced on Sunday. Detectives are investigating the disappearance, which was reported by his family on Sunday, March 22. Additionally, DCI faced challenges in their probe after being denied access to his Karen residence. The DCI has also issued a demand to Tuju's family for cooperation in the ongoing investigation. Meanwhile, ODM party leaders including Oburu Oginga have called for an immediate government investigation into claims that Tuju was abducted.




Motorists rerouted as floods damage key road to Lodwar - March 2026
Heavy rains have caused significant damage to a key road connecting Kitale to Lodwar, forcing authorities to reroute traffic due to a washed-away section.
